StorageChain (WSTOR) is a decentralised cloud storage and file-sharing platform that utilises blockchain technology. It integrates the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to offer a highly secure and distributed file storage solution. The platform relies on a network of "storage nodes" to store and retrieve data in a peer-to-peer manner, ensuring security, availability, and speed. Built on the Substrate framework, StorageChain is compatible with Ethereum, allowing users to benefit from Ethereum-based smart contracts and features. StorageChain employs a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism to maintain network integrity and energy efficiency.

StorageChain's primary use case is decentralised data storage.
