The token was originally known as Instadapp (INST) before rebranding to Fluid to align with its evolving ecosystem. Fluid is designed to facilitate various financial operations within the platform, including trading, asset bridging, and decentralised financial management.
Fluid (FLUID) is used within the Fluid platform to enable key DeFi functionalities. These include executing market orders quickly, supporting leveraged trading for assets such as BTC, ETH, DOGE, and SOL with up to 50x leverage, and providing real-time profit and loss analytics. The platform also allows users to bridge assets across multiple blockchains and conduct token swaps. The FLUID token may have additional utility related to governance and transaction facilitation within the ecosystem.
