Pete Pachal is CoinDesk's Chief of Staff for the Content team. A technology journalist for more than 20 years, Pete joined CoinDesk in 2020. In his role, he oversees operations and strategy for editorial, multimedia, evergreen content and more. Prior to joining CoinDesk, Pete was a senior editor for Mashable, PCMag and the Syfy Channel. Originally from Canada, Pete holds degrees in both journalism (University of King's College) and engineering (University of Alberta). He holds small amounts of BTC, ETH and SOL. His favorite Doctor Who monsters are the Cybermen.
