Three Canadian Crypto Exchanges Gear up to Merge; Internet Computer Issues 'Liquid Bitcoin'

Canadian crypto exchanges WonderFi, Coinsquare and CoinSmart have revealed plans to merge, creating what would be one of the world's largest crypto trading platforms. Plus, the Dfinity Foundation, a significant contributor to the development of the Internet Computer network, issued ckBTC – a liquid and cost-efficient “twin” token that is backed on a 1:1 basis with bitcoin (BTC).
