Shanghai Police Bust $16M Pyramid Scheme Involving Crypto

Police in Shanghai busted more than 10 people in connection with a $16 million pyramid scheme involving cryptocurrencies. It’s the city’s first cracked case of this sort. “Crypto scams lend itself to what crypto is,” says research analyst George Kaloudis.
