"The blockchain space really hasn't offered enough value...to the broader consumers," Mysten Labs CEO Evan Cheng said. Sui, a layer 1 blockchain boasting a $2 billion valuation, launched its mainnet on Wednesday. Cheng also discusses Sui's roadmap, noting, we're not building yet another blockchain that looks and feels the same as any other.
