An update on the Ledger hack and a look at Bitcoin's performance this week. I'm Jen Sani. You're watching Coindesk Daily, Ledger, Ceo Pascal Gauthier is speaking out about the Ledger hack. He posted on X that Ledger will dedicate as many internal and external resources as possible to help the affected individuals recover their assets. Multiple ethereum based applications including Zapper sushi swap, Phantom balancer and revoke cash were compromised on Thursday due to a security breach. It's not yet known how many decentralized apps were affected or how much money has been lost. An X is closing its doors amid bear market conditions. The crypto exchange launched last year. It was led by former Genesis trading, Ceo Michael Morrow. Morrow appears to have left with his profile on X saying he was formerly at an X. Reto said in a community message that anx development was paused and Bitcoin is on pace to end the week about 2% lower. The largest Cryptocurrency by market cap stayed relatively unchanged amid macroeconomic conditions including the US Federal Reserve holding its benchmark fed funds rate range steady on Wednesday.
