Landmark CBDC Test Backed by China, Thailand and Hong Kong Deemed Success, BIS Says

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) said a project involving multiple Asian central bank digital currencies (CBDC) has been deemed a success, facilitating over $22 million in foreign-exchange transactions.
