Coinbase CEO Says Pausing ChatGPT Progress Is a 'Bad Idea'

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted in part on Thursday that a temporary halt to developments in ChatGPT would be a "bad idea." Armstrong went on to write, "Don’t ever let fear stop progress, and be wary of anyone trying to capture control in some central authority."
