Regulators say the businesses also hired celebrities such as former boxer Floyd Mayweather junior and footballer Roberto Carlos to get attention in an array of investments. Just partners has not responded to coin desk attempts to reach them through business sites and social media. A mastercard executive thinks customers are so comfortable using today's money that it's hard to justify the effort for central bank digital currency adoption. Right now, Mastercard's lead for Blockchain and digital assets in the Asia Pacific region told C NBC in part that building the necessary infrastructure, quote, takes a lot of time and effort on a part of the country and quote, the payments giant has a CBD C partner program that includes participants like ripple fire blocks and consensus.
