BIS Report Questions Whether Stablecoins, CBDCs Can Create Risks in Developing Countries
A new paper released Friday by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) reveals although stablecoins may be adopted in some emerging markets and developing economies (EMDE), they may also present wider challenges and not address problems that other fintech innovations are tackling.
