Zano (ZANO) was created by Andrey N. Sabelnikov and Pavel Nikienkov. Andrey Sabelnikov graduated from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation as a system programming engineer and spent eight years in antivirus development. He became the lead developer for CryptoNote. Pavel Nikienkov has a background in project management and product ownership, with significant experience in launching and maintaining software products​​.
