Yearn Finance (Avalanche Bridge) (YFI.e) is a version of the Yearn Finance governance token, YFI, that has been bridged from the Ethereum blockchain to the Avalanche blockchain via the Avalanche Bridge. The "e" in YFI.e denotes that this token was originally an ERC-20 token and has been adapted for use within the Avalanche network, capitalizing on its optimized transaction speed and reduced operational costs.

YFI.e is used within the Avalanche ecosystem primarily to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, particularly those involving yield farming and lending. It enables users to maximize their returns through various Yearn Finance products adapted for Avalanche, benefiting from the network’s enhanced scalability and lower transaction fees.
