Question 1

What is YES Token?

Accepted Answer

YES Token is a meme-driven cryptocurrency built on the Solana blockchain, emerging from the CHADS NFT project community. The initiative extends the CHADS brand’s memetic influence into the token space, combining community engagement, cultural references, and a recognisable aesthetic. Originating in late 2022, the CHADS project developed a loyal following through NFT collectibles and an identity centred around humour, self-belief, and viral digital culture. The YES Token expands this ethos into an on-chain currency format while leveraging partnerships, community participation, and thematic branding.

The project operates as a decentralised cultural experiment, with the community at the centre of development and promotional activities. Its growth strategy incorporates digital memes, social media engagement, and alliances with infrastructure providers and other NFT-based communities.

Question 2

What is YES Token used for?

Accepted Answer

YES Token functions as the native currency within the CHADS ecosystem, supporting community-led initiatives and interaction within the project’s memetic framework. While not tied to a fixed utility roadmap, its intended purposes include:

- Facilitating participation in community events and activities related to CHADS NFTs
- Acting as a unit of exchange within ecosystem-integrated applications or games
- Serving as a medium for experimental on-chain mechanics connected to meme culture and NFT ownership

The token’s design focuses on adaptability for future use cases that align with the CHADS brand, enabling integration with other Solana-based projects and communities.

Question 3

Who created YES Token?

Accepted Answer

The YES Token was developed by the team behind the CHADS NFT project. This collective, operating under the CHADS identity, initially launched its NFT collection during the bear market of 2022 and has since expanded its brand presence through community growth and partnerships.
