XIDR was launched by StraitsX, a digital assets platform based in Singapore. It was announced as StraitsX's first Indonesian rupiah-denominated stablecoin, issued by Xfers StraitsX Indonesia, an Indonesian subsidiary of Fazz Financial Group. The Fazz Financial Group has obtained licenses for e-money issuance and fund transfer from Bank Indonesia. Aymeric Salley is identified as the Head of StraitsX, playing a significant role in the development and launch of XIDR​​​​.
