Question 1

What is XDEFI (XDEFI)?

Accepted Answer

XDEFI (XDEFI) is a non-custodial, multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet designed to support a range of blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, and THORChain. It allows users to manage various cryptocurrencies and NFTs across multiple blockchains within one interface. As a non-custodial wallet, XDEFI gives users full control over their assets by ensuring they retain their private keys, supporting both decentralised finance (DeFi) and decentralised application (dApp) interactions.

Question 2

What is XDEFI (XDEFI) used for?

Accepted Answer

The XDEFI token is a utility token within the XDEFI Wallet ecosystem, primarily used to cover network transaction fees across supported blockchains. This enables users to conduct transactions on different chains without needing to hold the native token for each network. XDEFI also includes governance features, allowing token holders to participate in voting on certain changes or developments within the ecosystem. Additionally, a deflationary mechanism is applied to the token’s supply, with a portion of revenue from the wallet allocated to regular buybacks and burns of XDEFI, which aims to gradually reduce the token’s circulating supply.

Question 3

Who created XDEFI (XDEFI)?

Accepted Answer

XDEFI Wallet was launched in 2020 by Emile Dubié, with investment support from Mechanism Capital, Delphi Digital, and Morningstar Ventures. Since its inception, XDEFI has aimed to simplify multi-chain asset management for its user base by offering tools to interact with multiple networks from one wallet platform.
