Question 1

What is Wrapped Zenon (WZNN)?

Accepted Answer

Wrapped Zenon (WZNN) is a token that represents Zenon (ZNN) on the Ethereum blockchain, specifically following the ERC-20 standard. Initially based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), WZNN has been migrated to the Ethereum network to leverage the extensive ecosystem of decentralised finance (DeFi) applications available on Ethereum. This migration allows WZNN to be integrated with various Ethereum-based platforms, enhancing its utility and accessibility.

Question 2

What is Wrapped Zenon (WZNN) used for?

Accepted Answer

Wrapped Zenon (WZNN) serves multiple purposes within the DeFi ecosystem. By wrapping ZNN into WZNN, users can utilise their tokens on Ethereum-based DeFi platforms such as Uniswap and 1inch for trading, staking, and liquidity provision. This enables users to earn rewards, participate in decentralised exchanges, and access a broader range of financial services than would be available on the native Zenon network. The wrapping process ensures that the value of ZNN is preserved while expanding its functionality across different blockchain ecosystems.

Question 3

Who created Wrapped Zenon (WZNN)?

Accepted Answer

Wrapped Zenon (WZNN) was developed by the Zenon Network community. Zenon Network, which operates under a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) structure, oversees the management and development of the token. The community-driven approach ensures that the decisions regarding WZNN and its integration into various platforms are made collectively, reflecting the interests and needs of the Zenon ecosystem's participants.
