The $WZRD token functions as the principal utility token and in-game currency within the Wizardia game and its prospective metaverse. It is predominantly utilised on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and can be spent, earned, or exchanged both inside and outside the game​​. The token's uses include staking for stability and rewards, elements of yield farming, and serving as an internal medium of exchange​​. In-game, $WZRD tokens enable players to conduct various transactions, including buying and selling resources, wagering in PvP Arena battles, and dealing in Wizard NFTs and other NFT items​​. Moreover, players with Arena Genesis NFTs can earn passive royalties in $WZRD tokens, and the tokens are awarded for tournament victories and for staking​​.

Although 'WZRD' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Wizardia Token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'WIZA' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
