Viction

Viction (VIC) is a cryptocurrency that operates on its own blockchain. Previously known as TomoChain, Viction is a layer-1 blockchain which is people-centric and designed to facilitate Web3 usage with enhanced ease and security. It is characterized by zero-gas transactions, emphasizing user experience, speed, security, and scalability. The platform employs a network of 150 masternodes and uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, aiming for enhanced scalability and stability. Viction supports EVM-compatible smart contracts, protocols, and atomic cross-chain token transfers. It also introduces the TRC25 token standard, designed to simplify token operations by eliminating the need for gas fees during use​​​​​​.

Viction is used for building a decentralized infrastructure suitable for various applications, including decentralized applications (dApps), token issuance, and integration. The platform's approach to zero-gas transactions and its compatibility with EVM-compatible smart contracts and protocols make it a conducive environment for developers and users alike. By enabling token-related actions without the need for native tokens, where network fees can be paid using the token itself, Viction aims to simplify and broaden accessibility to the Web3 world. Viction was created by Long Vuong, who is also a co-founder of the NEM Blockchain Project. The project is headquartered in Singapore. Initially known as TomoChain (Tomo Coin), the project underwent a rebranding to Viction (VIC) in November 2023. This rebranding was part of the project's evolution to better align with its vision and goals in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
