Conócenos USX
USX is a synthetic USD-pegged stablecoin issued on the Solana blockchain by Solstice Finance. It is designed to maintain a value close to one US dollar and to operate as a transferable stable-value token within Solana-based decentralised finance.
USX is described by Solstice Finance as overcollateralised, backed at 100% or more by a portfolio of liquid, collateral-grade assets managed by the protocol. The backing is structured around stable collateral, with reserves verified in real time using Chainlink Proof of Reserve. USX is minted and redeemed through protocol-defined mechanisms and is positioned as the core settlement asset within the Solstice ecosystem.
USX is used as a stable digital asset across Solstice Finance products and compatible Solana decentralised finance applications.
Its uses include:
- Acting as a USD-denominated token for transfers, trading and on-chain settlement on Solana
- Serving as the base asset used across Solstice Finance products and strategies
- Being locked within the Solstice protocol to receive eUSX, which represents a share of the net asset value associated with Solstice YieldVault strategies
- Providing liquidity or collateral in supported decentralised finance applications
Minting and redemption operate through a permissioned primary market. Approved, ID-verified institutional participants can mint USX by depositing stable collateral such as USDC or USDT and redeem by returning USX for equivalent collateral.
USX was created by Solstice Labs, the entity behind the Solstice Finance protocol.
Key leadership roles include:
- Ben Nadareski – Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solstice Labs, responsible for protocol development and operational direction
- Tim Grant – Co-Founder and Chairman of Solstice Labs, overseeing strategic direction
- Luis Marques – Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Solstice Labs, leading protocol engineering and technical architecture
Solstice Labs operates with backing from Deus X Capital, which supports the development of its decentralised finance products.
