TrustSwap (Avalanche Bridge) (SWAP.e) is a version of the TrustSwap token that has been bridged from the Ethereum blockchain to the Avalanche blockchain via the Avalanche Bridge. The "e" in SWAP.e signifies that this token was originally an ERC-20 token and has been adapted for use on the Avalanche network, benefiting from its optimized transaction speed and reduced costs.

SWAP.e is used within the Avalanche ecosystem to participate in various decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, especially those that involve token swaps and liquidity provision. It supports the seamless execution of smart contracts on Avalanche’s C-Chain, which is compatible with Ethereum’s tools and DApps, allowing for a smooth transition and operation of Ethereum-based contracts on Avalanche.

The transition of SWAP to the Avalanche network, resulting in SWAP.e, was facilitated by the Avalanche Bridge, developed by Ava Labs.
