Question 1

What is Sushi (Avalanche Bridge) (SUSHI.e)?

Accepted Answer

Sushi (Avalanche Bridge) (SUSHI.e) is a version of the SushiSwap governance and utility token that has been bridged from the Ethereum blockchain to the Avalanche blockchain via the Avalanche Bridge. The "e" in SUSHI.e indicates that this token was originally an ERC-20 token and has been adapted for use on Avalanche, capitalizing on the network’s faster processing times and reduced transaction costs.

Question 2

What is Sushi (Avalanche Bridge) (SUSHI.e) used for?

Accepted Answer

SUSHI.e is utilized primarily within the Avalanche ecosystem to engage in DeFi applications, particularly the SushiSwap protocol. It allows users to provide liquidity and participate in trading, benefiting from Avalanche's efficient and cost-effective environment. This makes it a strategic asset for those looking to exploit the lower barriers to entry and enhanced speed offered by Avalanche compared to Ethereum.

Question 3

Who created Sushi (Avalanche Bridge) (SUSHI.e)?

Accepted Answer

The bridging of SUSHI to the Avalanche network, resulting in SUSHI.e, was facilitated by the Avalanche Bridge, developed by Ava Labs. The bridge employs advanced technology to ensure secure and efficient transfers of assets across blockchains. This initiative is part of SushiSwap’s expansion into multiple chains, aiming to increase its presence and utility in the broader DeFi landscape.
