About STBL Governance Token
STBL is the governance token of a three-token RWA stablecoin protocol. The system mints USST (USD-pegged principal) and YLD (NFT capturing the yield stream). STBL holders vote on collateral onboarding, risk parameters, fees, upgrades, treasury allocations, access controls and expansion. STBL is for governance participation and alignment; it does not itself provide yield.
STBL is the governance token of the STBL protocol, which tokenises real-world, yield-bearing assets and separates principal and yield into two instruments: USST (a USD-pegged stablecoin representing principal) and YLD (an NFT representing the right to the yield stream). STBL coordinates protocol decision-making and incentive alignment; it is neither the stablecoin nor the yield token. It does not promise returns; any staking or time-locking is solely for governance participation and alignment.
- Voting & proposals: approve/remove collateral types (and haircuts), set mint/redemption parameters and fees, and authorise contract upgrades.
- Risk oversight & access controls: set limits, liquidation policies, and whitelist/blacklist rules.
- Treasury & incentives: allocate protocol revenue across treasury reserve, loss reserve, and governance incentives.STBL may be staked or time-locked for voting rights and incentive eligibility as defined by governance. This does not constitute a guaranteed return.
