Question 1

What is SpaceX xStock (SPCXX)?

Accepted Answer

SpaceX xStock is a tokenised equity product that tracks the price of Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, the company known as SpaceX. It is issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited as a tracker certificate and is designed to represent exposure to the underlying SpaceX share through a blockchain-based token.

The token is not the same as holding SpaceX shares directly. It gives holders exposure to the value of the underlying share through a certificate structure, rather than shareholder rights in SpaceX itself.

Question 2

What is SpaceX xStock (SPCXX) used for?

Accepted Answer

SpaceX xStock is used to gain blockchain-based exposure to the price of SpaceX shares. It can be held, transferred or traded on supported platforms, subject to availability, local rules and eligibility requirements.

The token may also be used in onchain applications where supported. As a tokenised product, it can be integrated with wallets, exchanges and other blockchain-based services that support xStocks.

SPCXX may include product-level fees, including issuance or redemption fees. Access may be restricted in some jurisdictions and the product is not available to all investors.

Question 3

Who created SpaceX xStock (SPCXX)?

Accepted Answer

SpaceX xStock was issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited as part of the xStocks product range.

The underlying company, SpaceX, was founded in 2002 and designs, manufactures and launches rockets and spacecraft. SpaceX is separate from SPCXX: SpaceX is the company whose share price the product tracks, while SPCXX is the tokenised tracker certificate issued by Backed Assets.
