SoMee.Social is a blockchain-based social media platform focused on decentralised content monetisation, user data ownership, and privacy preservation. It operates as a user-driven ecosystem where interactions such as posting, upvoting, and commenting are directly rewarded using on-chain mechanisms. SoMee allows participants to opt into data sharing in exchange for compensation, while enabling advertisers to engage transparently with token-based campaigns.

The platform was founded by Tobias Schwarz (CEO) and Jörg Müller (CTO), who lead its technical and operational development. SoMee positions itself as an alternative to traditional social media by building a permission-based attention economy underpinned by smart contracts and blockchain verification.

SOMEE is the native utility token of the SoMee.Social platform. It performs multiple roles within the ecosystem:
