Question 1

What is Smog (SMOG)?

Accepted Answer

Smog (SMOG) is a meme-based cryptocurrency that debuted on the Solana blockchain and later expanded to Ethereum via Portalbridge, enhancing its accessibility and audience reach. The project is themed around a formidable dragon, symbolising its dominance in the crypto arena, and is marketed as hosting the "greatest airdrop in crypto history." This airdrop is a central feature, aiming to reward community members for their participation and loyalty.

The SMOG token has a total supply of 1.4 billion tokens, distributed among marketing, airdrop rewards, and liquidity for both centralised and decentralised exchanges. Its multichain nature allows for trading and staking opportunities across Solana and Ethereum. The project also highlights security and transparency, having undergone an independent audit and secured token allocations through trusted platforms.

Question 2

What is Smog (SMOG) used for?

Accepted Answer

Smog (SMOG) is designed to incentivise community participation and long-term holding through various use cases:

1. **Participation in Airdrops**: SMOG holders earn airdrop points, qualifying them for rewards during the project's signature airdrop event. Points are accumulated based on holdings, staking, and community engagement tasks on platforms like Zealy.

2. **Staking for Rewards**: Users can stake SMOG tokens on Ethereum, earning additional Annual Percentage Yields (APY). Staked tokens are locked for a period of 90 days, providing both stability to the ecosystem and added benefits for participants.

3. **Trading and Liquidity**: SMOG tokens can be traded on both Solana and Ethereum networks. Users can purchase SMOG directly on DEX platforms like Birdeye or through the project's OTC widget, which offers a 10% discount for buyers who also stake their tokens.

4. **Community Engagement**: Smog encourages its users to actively participate in community events, social challenges, and gamified tasks. These activities reward participants with additional points towards their airdrop eligibility.

By combining staking, trading, and community-driven gamification, Smog creates an engaging ecosystem where users are incentivised to remain active and committed to the project.

Question 3

Who created Smog (SMOG)?

Accepted Answer

The developers behind Smog (SMOG) have not disclosed their identities, a common practice among meme coin projects. However, the team has implemented several measures to establish trust and ensure transparency:

- **Audit by Coinsult:** Smog's smart contracts have been independently reviewed to enhance security and reliability.
- **Token Security through Team.Finance:** This mechanism ensures proper handling and security of token allocations for marketing, airdrops, and liquidity pools.

The Smog project emphasises the role of its community, referring to them as "chosen warriors" who play a central role in the ecosystem's growth and success. This community-centric model underscores the project's reliance on user engagement for its expansion and evolution.
