について Render v1

Render is a decentralized GPU-based rendering platform using blockchain technology. Founded by Jules Urbach, CEO of OTOY, Render's native cryptocurrency, Render Token (RNDR), facilitates a marketplace for trading GPU power for digital content creation. Users needing rendering services can compensate those offering GPU resources with RNDR. The token also represents the computational work for digital renders, setting the value of rendering work within the Render Network. You can acquire RNDR tokens on various cryptocurrency exchanges and use them within the Render ecosystem.

よくある質問

Render is a platform that leverages blockchain technology to provide decentralized GPU-based rendering solutions. Its native cryptocurrency, Render Token (RNDR), plays a significant role within this ecosystem. Render's goal is to change the digital creation process by using globally available, underutilized GPU power, aiming to democratize access to rendering resources.

Render was founded in 2016 by Jules Urbach, the CEO of OTOY, a company known for its work in digital graphics. Render represents a progression in Urbach's vision for an open metaverse. The project, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, has grown since its inception and gained recognition in the crypto and digital graphics communities.

The Render Token (RNDR) serves as a means of exchange within the Render Network. It enables users requiring rendering jobs to compensate those providing GPU resources. RNDR tokens facilitate a marketplace where GPU power is traded for digital content creation. In this context, RNDR isn't just a payment method; it's also a measure of the computational work needed to produce digital renders, thereby helping to establish the value of rendering work on the Render Network.

To utilize the Render Network, you need RNDR tokens, which can be obtained on several cryptocurrency exchanges. Once you've secured RNDR tokens in your wallet, they can be used within the Render ecosystem.

If you possess idle GPUs, you can register as a "Node Operator" on the Render Network, where your GPU's power can be used to complete rendering tasks in return for RNDR tokens. You simply connect your GPUs to the Render Network and begin accepting jobs.

Conversely, if you're a "Creator" needing rendering work, you can submit your projects to the Render Network. The network assigns your job to an available Node Operator, and you pay for this service with RNDR tokens.

In each transaction, OTOY receives a small percentage of RNDR tokens as a fee for maintaining the network and enabling operations.

Remember, it's crucial to store your RNDR tokens in a supported wallet and always follow good security practices when dealing with cryptocurrencies.
