Project 89 is an interactive protocol built on Solana, combining digital identity, storytelling, and onchain participation through a simulated resistance narrative. Participants engage as agents in a fictional conflict, using digital assets and structured engagement cycles to shape the progression of the protocol’s storyline and system architecture.

The ecosystem is driven by narrative loops structured around interactive phases, where users participate in missions, unlock digital identities, and engage with a fictional entity called Oneirocom. Project 89 blends alternate reality game design with blockchain infrastructure, integrating NFTs, avatars, and immersive experiences.

It uses tokenised mechanics, avatar ownership, and decentralised coordination to connect its narrative to protocol operations. Each participant becomes part of a collective simulation governed by layered decision-making, content progression, and programmable digital artefacts.
