Planq

Planq (PLQ) is the native token of the Planq blockchain. The Planq network focuses on mobile-first accessibility, aiming to maximize the blockchain potential of mobile devices. This approach has been taken with the recognition that over 50% of people worldwide do not have access to a computer, but more than 80% have access to a mobile phone. By designing an OS-agnostic system, Planq allows any mobile device to interact with its blockchain. With this focus on easy accessibility and close integration of other blockchains via Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC), Planq strives to push the adoption of Web 3.0 in the mobile space to the next level​.

The $PLQ token is used for a variety of purposes within the Planq network. It is primarily used for staking, governance, and transaction fees on all Planq applications. This token can also be easily traded. In addition, Planq has launched a mobile wallet application named Castrum that uses the Planq blockchain and the $PLQ token. Castrum allows users to receive and send crypto to other users and has a fully encrypted chat function, among other features offered by the Planq blockchain.
