MON Protocol is a blockchain-native gaming and intellectual property (IP) publishing platform. It aims to support the development and distribution of blockchain-based games and digital assets. MON Protocol launched with its own games, including Pixelmon Games: Pixelpals, Warriors of Nova Thera, and Hunting Grounds, and has since amassed a large community of over 1 million web3-savvy gamers.

MON Protocol serves as a developer and publisher for blockchain-native gaming projects, enabling them to reach broader audiences and maximize adoption. The platform is chain-agnostic, meaning it can operate across multiple blockchain networks. MON, the platform's ERC-20 token, is used as both the publisher token and the ecosystem token for all games under the Pixelmon umbrella. The token facilitates various in-game transactions and rewards within the MON ecosystem​.

MON Protocol was co-founded by Giulio Xiloyannis and Kirill Volgin. Xiloyannis also serves as the CEO of Pixelmon, a key partner of MON Protocol. The strategic partnership with Pixelverse aims to enhance Web 3 gaming adoption, leveraging the strengths of both platforms to create a richer gaming experience and expand their user base​.
