Question 1

What is Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW)?

Accepted Answer

Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW) is a meme-themed cryptocurrency project launched on the Solana blockchain in March 2024. It seeks to establish a niche by appealing to users interested in a cat-themed token, as an alternative to popular dog-themed coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. MEW’s structure includes a tokenomic model designed to reduce circulating supply and potentially stabilise the token’s value. Upon launch, MEW burned 90% of its liquidity pool tokens to create scarcity and retained 10% for community airdrops to encourage early adoption and involvement on the Solana platform.

Question 2

What is Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW) used for?

Accepted Answer

As with many meme coins, MEW’s primary function is speculative trading driven by community interest and social media engagement. Beyond its appeal as a novelty asset, MEW is heavily influenced by market trends and the dynamics of the meme coin sector, with users trading it on various exchanges and potentially holding it for value growth.
