What is Merit Circle (MC)?

Merit Circle, now rebranded as Beam, started as a DAO aimed at developing the play-to-earn economy within the gaming sector. It operates on an open-source blockchain that specializes in gaming, providing a simplified and enhanced gaming environment.

What is the Merit Circle (MC) used for?

The MC token, which is now known as the BEAM token, plays a vital role in the governance and development of the DAO. Token holders are granted voting rights, allowing them to participate in decision-making processes related to the DAO's future. The token also serves as a form of payment (gas) for processing and executing transactions on the Beam blockchains and networks. Additionally, the MC token is used for staking within the Beam blockchain networks, enabling participation in staking activities with certain privileges, such as additional voting weight.
