MATES

MATES (token: $MATES) is the primary token within the Moemate ecosystem, which is an advanced AI agent platform. Moemate integrates both on-chain and off-chain capabilities, enabling AI agents to operate across multiple platforms and ecosystems. It powers the functionality of tokenised AI agents, allowing these agents to interact with users and platforms in diverse ways, including gaming, multimedia content, and personal assistance.

Additionally, $MATES is used on the Mates.lol platform, where communities can own, trade, and govern tokenised AI agents. Each AI agent is represented by tradeable attention-based tokens created using bonding curves. MATES tokens enable the governance of the platform via MatesDAO and are integral to the ecosystem's economic structure​​.

The $MATES token serves multiple purposes across the Moemate and Mates.lol ecosystems:
