Lnfi Network is a Bitcoin Layer-2 infrastructure protocol that extends the Lightning Network beyond payments by enabling programmable, multi-asset decentralised finance. It introduces asset issuance, trading, settlement, and management directly on the Lightning Network, anchored to Bitcoin for finality.

The network uses Lightning’s off-chain speed and finalises all settlements back on the Bitcoin mainnet. Lnfi integrates native support for Taproot Assets and RGB assets, enabling issuance and transfer of stablecoins, tokenised real-world assets, in-game assets, and other digital instruments.

Core infrastructure includes:

• LN Issue: token creation for Taproot and RGB assets
• LN Starter: launchpad and launchpool modules
• LN Exchange: a Lightning-native DEX using peer-to-peer order matching via Nostr
• LN Node: self-custodial node and yield management tools
• P2P Marketplace: a decentralised listing platform for Taproot and RGB assets

The protocol uses Lightning and Nostr for messaging and settlement. Orders and interactions are broadcast via decentralised Nostr relays, and matched orders are settled over Lightning channels through atomic bilateral exchanges, with Bitcoin as the final settlement layer.

Lnfi (LN) is the native token of the Lnfi Network ecosystem. It is used across products and modules to coordinate activity, pay for services, and align participation incentives.

LN is used to:

• Pay protocol-level service fees across the LN Issue, Exchange, and Marketplace
• Participate in token launches and launchpools
• Access ecosystem tools and node-based services
• Support application incentives and utility integration
• Enable token-based programme access across the Lnfi product suite

The token is issued on BNB Smart Chain as a BEP-20 token. Its structure supports multi-chain extension, with LN used to bootstrap liquidity, reward early users, and facilitate network effects across Lightning-integrated applications.
