Launch Coin on Believe

Launch Coin on Believe is the native token of Believe, a SocialFi token launch platform built on Solana and Solana L2s. The project was founded by Ben Pasternak and originally launched under the name PASTERNAK, which served as both the founder's social token and a prototype for creator-based tokenisation. In April 2025, the project underwent a rebrand from PASTERNAK to Believe, with the token updated to LAUNCHCOIN, shifting its focus from a single-person token to a broader community launchpad model.

Believe enables users to launch new tokens directly via posts on X (formerly Twitter). By replying to the platform's account with a name and ticker, users trigger automatic smart contract deployment of SPL tokens. These tokens begin on a bonding curve (powered by Meteora DBC) and graduate to decentralised liquidity pools once certain engagement or capital thresholds are met.

The platform also supports livestreamed token presentations and integrates APIs for off-chain actions such as burn verification, allowing creators to link token use to real-world redemptions (e.g. selling merchandise). Its long-term vision is to establish an "Internet Capital Market" where ideas and communities can launch tradable tokens permissionlessly.

LAUNCHCOIN is the ecosystem token for the Believe platform. While it is not required to create or trade tokens, it serves multiple roles in the system:

• Reward Distribution: LAUNCHCOIN is used to reward creators, community participants, and scouts who contribute to the ecosystem’s growth.
• Governance: Future roadmap plans include using LAUNCHCOIN for on-chain governance—such as determining platform parameters, pool mechanics, and protocol fees.
• Creator Payouts: Earnings from token graduations are denominated in part in LAUNCHCOIN and distributed via linked accounts.
• SocialFi Utility: LAUNCHCOIN plays a role in staking, community features, and in-platform user progression, although none of these are mandatory for core platform use.
