Kuma Inu (KUMA) is a decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystem built on the Ethereum blockchain. Launched in 2021, Kuma Inu was created as a meme token but has since evolved into a comprehensive DeFi platform offering a suite of financial products. • Staking and Yield Farming: Users can stake $KUMA and other meme tokens in the Kuma Breeder to earn $dKUMA rewards. $dKUMA can then be staked in the dKuma Breeder to earn $USDC, creating an "infinite loop" for yield generation.
• Cross-Chain Swaps: Kuma SwapX facilitates decentralised token swaps across various blockchain networks, promoting interoperability.
• Perpetual Contract Trading: Kuma DEX allows for leverage trading of perpetual futures contracts with decentralised, on-chain liquidity.
• Governance: Only $dKUMA holders can participate in governance through the Kuma DEX DAO, voting on proposals related to product development, fee adjustments, and token listings.

Kuma Inu was developed by an anonymous developer associated with the Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Leash (LEASH) tokens. Initially, the project was overseen by its original creator, but it has since transitioned to full decentralisation under community governance through the Kuma DAO and Kuma DEX DAO.

The community now manages the project's development, marketing, and strategic direction. Critical roles within the ecosystem are filled through a community-driven hiring process, ensuring decentralisation. The project’s roadmap and significant decisions are guided by community votes.
