About Kava v1 (Binance Launchpad)
Kava (KAVA-10C) represents the initial BEP2 version of the KAVA token, launched on the Binance Chain via Binance Launchpad in October 2019. It was used primarily for trading before the Kava mainnet went live, whereupon holders could migrate to the native KAVA token. Developed by Kava Labs, this version of the token was key in establishing Kava's early liquidity and market presence.
Kava (KAVA-10C) is the BEP2 version of the KAVA token, issued initially on the Binance Chain as part of the token's launch on the Binance Launchpad in October 2019. The KAVA-10C token was created before the launch of the Kava mainnet, serving as the initial representation of the KAVA token for trading and distribution purposes on Binance’s platform. This token allowed participants to engage with Kava even before the mainnet was fully operational.
KAVA-10C was primarily used for trading on the Binance Chain and allowed early investors and participants in the Binance Launchpad Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) to acquire KAVA tokens. While initially issued as a BEP2 token, KAVA-10C was later eligible for migration to the native KAVA token on the Kava mainnet once it became operational. The token served as a bridge, enabling liquidity and trading in the early stages before the mainnet supported native KAVA functionalities like governance, staking, and collateralization within the Kava ecosystem.
KAVA-10C was developed by Kava Labs, the team behind the Kava blockchain. Kava Labs is focused on building a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that allows users to borrow, lend, and mint stablecoins. The BEP2 version of the token was specifically launched in partnership with Binance through its Launchpad platform, marking the first public introduction of the KAVA token.
