iShares Gold Trust (Ondo Tokenized) (IAUON) is a tokenised version of the iShares Gold Trust ETF (IAU), issued on the Ethereum blockchain by Ondo Finance. Each IAUON token represents one share of the underlying ETF, enabling onchain ownership and transfer of gold-backed exposure.

IAUON provides blockchain-based access to the iShares Gold Trust, which seeks to reflect the performance of the price of gold, before expenses and liabilities. The token offers a digital alternative to physically holding gold, without the logistical requirements of transport, storage or insurance. It gives eligible participants access to gold exposure through an onchain instrument backed 1:1 by IAU shares.

IAUON is issued by Ondo Finance, a platform that tokenises real-world assets including equities, fixed income instruments, and commodities. The goal is to bring traditional investment exposure onto blockchain infrastructure in a compliant, accessible format.
