Accepted Answer

Hippocrat (HPO) is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency that focuses on empowering individuals with control over their personal health data. It uses decentralised technology and zero-knowledge proofs to ensure data privacy and security. HPO enables users to securely manage, access, and share health information while maintaining self-sovereignty over their data. The project positions itself as a solution to the fragmented and centralised nature of traditional healthcare data management systems.

Question 2

What is Hippocrat (HPO) used for?

Accepted Answer

Hippocrat (HPO) serves several key purposes in the healthcare and blockchain ecosystems:

* **Decentralised Health Data Management:** It allows users to store and manage their personal health data securely on a blockchain. By doing so, individuals can have full control over who accesses their information.

* **Medical Research and Collaboration:** The platform enables users to monetise their data by securely sharing it with researchers and healthcare providers. This fosters collaboration and innovation in medical research while ensuring user consent.

* **Global Healthcare Access:** Through the "Hippo" service, the project facilitates remote medical consultations and makes healthcare accessible globally, removing barriers to medical services.

* **Privacy-Preserving Technology:** By integrating zero-knowledge proof technology, Hippocrat ensures that data can be validated or shared without revealing sensitive information.

The Hippocrat (HPO) token functions as a utility token within the ecosystem, facilitating various operations. It serves as a means of compensation for users who choose to share their health data with authorised researchers or medical institutions, incentivising participation while ensuring data privacy and user consent. The token is also used as a payment mechanism for accessing healthcare services, such as remote consultations provided through the platform's "Hippo" service. By integrating the HPO token into these processes, the platform creates a self-sustaining economy that aligns with its decentralised healthcare goals.
