About Holoworld AI
HOLO is the native asset for Holoworld AI, a platform for creating and operating on-chain AI agents. It coordinates activity across the agent marketplace and MCP network by enabling staking for access to launches, rewards for participation and on-chain governance of programmes and partnerships. It is also used as a medium of exchange within network services that support agent creation and deployment. Holoworld’s product stack includes Ava Studio for text-to-video production, an Agent Market for launching and trading agent IP and APIs for programmatic generation and social deployment. Usage is metered via Holo Credits that cover LLM inference, media rendering and storage, with clear per-unit rates and editable scene parameters.
Holoworld AI is an agentic app store and creation stack for building, owning and deploying intelligent virtual beings. It provides tools to create multimodal AI agents (text, voice and avatars), verify agent identity on-chain and operate agents across platforms. The stack includes Ava Studio for text-to-video with editable scenes, an Agent Market for launching and trading agent IP and deployment tooling for social channels with supervision and approval workflows. Agents can draw on live data and plugins, and creators can attach written or uploaded knowledge for retrieval during interactions. A credits system powers media generation and API usage, with pricing mapped to underlying model costs and configurable scene options.
HOLO is the native asset for coordination and exchange across the Holoworld ecosystem and agent marketplace. Its roles include:
- Staking and participation: align with the network, earn rewards and gain access to new launches via HoloLaunch.
- Foundation governance: propose and vote on programmes, partnerships and protocol changes.
- Creator incentives and rewards: fund community and creator initiatives tied to agent activity.
- Network currency: serve as the primary medium of exchange across the open MCP network.
Within the wider product suite, Holo Credits are in-app compute units that cover LLM calls, rendering and storage for video, voice and images. Credits can be topped up via credit packs inside Ava Studio; free starter credits are available on account creation, and generated elements (scenes, TTS, images, SFX) consume credits according to published per-unit rates. The Studio API enables programmatic video rendering with scene lists, captions, Live2D avatar placement and status polling.
Holoworld is built by Hologram Labs, co-founded by Tong Pow (CEO) and Hongzi Mao (CTO).
- Tong Pow (CEO) – product engineering background (including roles at 0x Labs), member of South Park Commons, with earlier experience at Bright Machines and Amazon Web Services; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
- Hongzi Mao (CTO) – PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT; research in reinforcement learning and systems/video ML; prior research experience at MIT and work associated with organisations such as DeepMind.
