Question 1

What is Heima Network (HEI)?

Accepted Answer

Heima Network is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain designed to enhance multi-chain and cross-chain interoperability. Evolving from the Litentry Network, which focused on decentralized identity and privacy solutions, Heima expands its scope to address cross-chain asset management and seamless interactions across major blockchain ecosystems, including Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot.

Question 2

What is Heima Network (HEI) used for?

Accepted Answer

Heima Network facilitates seamless transactions and interactions across multiple blockchain platforms, enabling users to manage and transfer assets without technical barriers. It integrates decentralized identity management and advanced security mechanisms powered by Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), ensuring secure and private operations. The network's intent-based execution system streamlines cross-chain interactions, allowing users to engage with decentralized applications (dApps) and manage assets across various blockchains intuitively.

Question 3

HEI Token Utility

Accepted Answer

HEI is the native cryptocurrency of Heima Network, serving as both the governance token and gas token. Users can participate in on-chain governance proposals and vote on network upgrades and strategic initiatives. Additionally, HEI facilitates transactions and interactions within the Heima ecosystem. The token operates on the Heima Parachain, Ethereum, and BNB Chain, with bridging options available for cross-network transfers.

Question 4

Who created Heima Network (HEI)?

Accepted Answer

Heima was founded by Hanwen Cheng, a software engineer with prior experience working on Polkadot's development. In 2020, Cheng initiated work on the Litentry Network, built using the Substrate framework. By 2025, his focus had shifted toward chain abstraction, leading to the evolution of Litentry into Heima Network to expand its capabilities.
