About GoPlus Security

GoPlus Security (GPS) is a decentralised Web3 security network that provides real-time risk analysis, transaction protection, and security intelligence. It offers smart contract audits, an on-chain firewall, and cross-chain security solutions, using AI-powered and AVS-based decentralised security services. The GPS token is used for security service fees, staking, governance, and network incentives, ensuring decentralised participation and sustainability.

Frequently Asked Questions

GoPlus Security (GPS) is a decentralised security infrastructure designed to provide Web3 users with comprehensive protection against blockchain-related threats. It offers real-time risk analysis and decentralised security services, aiming to establish a seamless security layer across multiple blockchain networks. The GoPlus Network leverages Actively Validated Services (AVS) and AI-powered security solutions to enhance transaction security, prevent phishing, and mitigate other security vulnerabilities in decentralised finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and smart contract interactions.

GoPlus Security (GPS) is used to provide end-to-end security solutions in the Web3 ecosystem. Its functionalities include:

  • Smart Contract & Token Security – Conducts automated security analysis of smart contracts and tokens to detect potential vulnerabilities.
  • On-Chain Firewall – Blocks malicious transactions in real-time, preventing phishing scams, rug pulls, and wallet drainers.
  • Security Intelligence – Offers APIs and SDKs for projects to integrate GoPlus security checks into their platforms.
  • Multi-Chain Protection – Supports multiple blockchain networks, ensuring comprehensive security for cross-chain transactions.
  • SafeToken Protocol – Establishes secure token issuance and liquidity management practices to prevent security flaws in new tokens.
  • Personal Security Management – Provides a user-focused security dashboard through the GoPlus App, enabling real-time security insights and risk alerts.
  • Security Data Contribution & AVS Operators – Allows users to participate in security verification and contribute to decentralised security computations.

The GPS token is the native utility token of the GoPlus Security ecosystem. It plays a central role in maintaining and incentivising decentralised security services across Web3. Its main use cases include:

1. Security Service Fees:

  • Users pay transaction protection and risk analysis fees in GPS.
  • Developers and projects pay for access to GoPlus Security APIs and intelligence services using GPS.
  • SafeToken Protocol users pay in GPS for secure token issuance and liquidity management.

2. Staking & Network Participation:

  • AVS Operators must stake GPS to provide decentralised security services and earn rewards.
  • Security Data Contributors stake GPS to validate and contribute security-related data to the network.
  • Staking GPS ensures the integrity and commitment of participants while allowing them to earn staking rewards.

3. Governance & Voting:

  • Holders of GPS tokens can participate in governance decisions related to the GoPlus ecosystem.
  • Voting rights are weighted based on the amount of GPS staked, influencing protocol upgrades and security policies.

4. Security Gas Fees:

  • Every SecWare security service transaction consumes GPS as "security gas," ensuring sustainability and incentivising security providers.
  • A portion of fees goes to the GoPlus Foundation for research, development, and ecosystem growth.

5. Incentives & Rewards:

  • GPS tokens are distributed as rewards for AVS Operators, Data Contributors, and SecWare Developers.
  • Users engaging with the GoPlus Security App and contributing to network security tasks can earn GPS.

6. Future Utility Expansion:

  • GoPlus plans to integrate GPS into on-chain DeFi trading security mechanisms, enabling secure transactions across all blockchains.
  • Expansion into additional security-related applications, including AI-driven security solutions and decentralised identity protection.

GoPlus Security was co-founded by Mike, Eskil Xu, and Allen Zhang, each bringing unique expertise to the project:

  • Mike (Co-Founder): A seasoned professional in Web2 security, Mike observed many peers transitioning to Web3 falling victim to online scams. He recognised the vast opportunities in the burgeoning Web3 space but also identified significant risks and chaos. Leveraging his extensive Web2 experience and solid understanding of Web3 technologies, Mike initiated efforts to address user security issues in this new domain.

  • Eskil Xu (Co-Founder): Initially a Web2 security enthusiast, Eskil was inspired by Mike's vision to launch a user-centric security project. Recognising the potential impact and alignment with their backgrounds, Eskil joined forces with Mike to establish GoPlus Security, aiming to enhance safety for regular users in the Web3 ecosystem.

  • Allen Zhang (Co-Founder and Technical Director): Serving as the technical lead, Allen brings a wealth of experience in secure data and blockchain development. His technical acumen has been instrumental in building GoPlus Security's infrastructure and services.

The core team comprises professionals with backgrounds in Web2 security and early dApp development in China, accumulating years of technical expertise in secure data fields.
