Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) is a U.S. dollar stable token issued by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission. It is designed to be issued and redeemed for USD $1.00 and is backed by reserves held to support outstanding tokens. FRNT is the first fiat-backed, fully reserved stable token issued by a public entity in the United States.
FRNT is backed by cash, U.S. Treasury bills and repurchase agreements. Its reserve structure is intended to support redemption and maintain a one-to-one relationship with the U.S. dollar. The token is available on Solana, with bridging support for Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism and Polygon through Stargate.
FRNT is used for blockchain-based payments, transfers and settlement using a token linked to the U.S. dollar. It allows users to send and receive a digital asset designed to maintain a USD $1.00 redemption value, while operating across supported blockchain networks.
The token can be used by individuals, businesses and institutions that need a dollar-denominated digital asset for payments or treasury operations. Its multi-chain design allows FRNT to move across different blockchain ecosystems rather than being limited to one network.
FRNT is also part of Wyoming’s digital asset framework. Interest generated from reserves above the amount required to back outstanding tokens may be transferred to an administration account, creating a mechanism for reserve income to support the programme.
Frontier Stable Token was created by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission, a public entity established under the Wyoming Stable Token Act. The Commission is responsible for issuing Wyoming stable tokens and overseeing the framework used for FRNT’s reserves, redemption and operation.
The Wyoming Stable Token Act was passed in 2023 and created the legal basis for a state-issued stable token. FRNT is the first implementation of that framework and became publicly available for purchase in January 2026.
