FDrive Coin

FDrive Coin (FDC) is the token used within FooDriver, a decentralised application for ordering and delivering food, goods and services. FooDriver uses a smart contract to manage interactions between the customer, the merchant and the delivery person, aiming to automate key steps with limited manual intervention. The smart contract is deployed on Polygon. In the app, FDC is used to pay for orders, lock funds in a smart contract once an order is confirmed then release payment after delivery is confirmed. It also supports refunds when an order is refused due to quality or quantity issues, including compensation described in the order flow. FDC is used for automatic payments to delivery people, payments at partner merchants and exchanging into local currency. FooDriver also includes a delivery themed game where players earn “FDC points” as an in-game score for profiles, leaderboards and in-game items and tournaments can award prizes paid in FDC.
