Question 1

What is EURO Stable Token (EURST)?

Accepted Answer

EURO Stable Token (EURST) is a fiat-backed stablecoin issued by Wallex Trust and built on the Ethereum blockchain under the ERC-20 token standard. Each EURST token is backed 1:1 by U.S. dollars held in reserve accounts, representing a digital proxy for the euro’s value in stable, redeemable form. The token’s structure enables real-time auditing of its reserves, ensuring full collateralisation and transparency.

EURST was designed to serve as a compliant and verifiable alternative to euro-pegged stablecoins, providing users with a digital asset whose value is fully supported by USD reserves. By maintaining live audit integration within its smart contract framework, EURST ensures that the total number of tokens in circulation always matches the amount of collateral held by Wallex Trust’s custodians.

Question 2

What is EURST used for?

Accepted Answer

EURST is used as a stable digital medium of exchange and settlement instrument across blockchain-based and traditional financial systems.

**Payments:** Enables businesses to accept blockchain-based transactions with euro-equivalent stability.
**Remittances:** Facilitates low-cost cross-border transfers and settlements.
**Trading and DeFi:** Acts as a stable liquidity asset for decentralised applications, trading pairs, and collateral in DeFi protocols.
**Escrow and settlements:** Used in smart contracts requiring stable, verifiable value exchange.
**Payroll and savings:** Supports regular payments, payroll systems, and savings plans with stable valuation independent of crypto volatility.

The token’s interoperability within Ethereum’s ecosystem allows EURST to integrate seamlessly into decentralised exchanges, custodial platforms, and payment networks.

Question 3

How does EURST maintain stability?

Accepted Answer

EURST’s stability mechanism is based on full collateralisation and real-time auditing. Each token represents a claim on an equivalent amount of U.S. dollars held in a segregated trust account managed by Wallex Trust.

**Issuance:** Users deposit USD with Wallex Trust, which then mints and releases an equivalent number of EURST tokens on-chain.
**Redemption:** When users return EURST to the issuer, the tokens are burned, and the corresponding USD is released from reserve.
**Auditing:** The system is integrated with real-time auditing to ensure that total token supply and reserve balances are always equal.

This structure preserves both transparency and the integrity of the 1:1 peg.

Question 4

Technical architecture

Accepted Answer

EURST is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, operating under a transparent smart contract framework. Its architecture ensures verifiable issuance and burning mechanisms.

**Contract address:** 0xB1aBd7ABa7d99BBEfb33D1dfc66B0dD522335350
**Decimals:** 18
**Blockchain:** Ethereum mainnet
**Standard functions:** Transfer, approve, and allowance for compatibility with ERC-20-compliant wallets and exchanges
**Auditing integration:** External monitoring of reserve data linked to on-chain supply to maintain real-time transparency

The token’s architecture supports scalability and interoperability across multiple exchanges and DeFi platforms.

Question 5

Who created EURO Stable Token (EURST)?

Accepted Answer

EURO Stable Token (EURST) was created and is issued by Wallex Trust, a financial institution specialising in blockchain-based custody, compliance, and digital asset management. Wallex Trust operates under regulatory frameworks that support its custodial and fiduciary services, ensuring that each issued EURST token remains fully backed by fiat reserves.
