Decentral Games v1 (DGV1) refers to the first version of the smart contract for the Decentral Games platform on the Ethereum blockchain. Decentral Games is a decentralised platform that offers a metaverse-based casino experience where users can play games like poker, blackjack, roulette, and other popular casino-style games. The first version (v1) of the contract laid the groundwork for the platform’s decentralised operations, allowing users to interact with the casino games in a trustless manner.

This early version of the smart contract enabled decentralised, on-chain verification of game outcomes, ensuring fairness and transparency. It also provided the initial functionality for users to wager, win, and receive payouts in cryptocurrency, especially using the DG token, which was essential for in-game utility.
