Dark Frontiers

Dark Frontiers is an action-based, third-person MMORPG set in an alternate version of space. Players immerse themselves in surviving on a captivating yet harsh alien moon, where resourcefulness and creativity are tested through combat and strategic adaptation. The game integrates blockchain technology, utilizing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to represent in-game assets such as spacesuits, weapons, tools, and land. These NFTs can be bought, sold, and traded on the Dark Frontiers Marketplace.

Dark Frontiers features a play-to-earn economy driven by the $DARK token, which serves as the premium currency necessary for all NFT-related activities such as crafting, upgrading, and merging. Players can earn $DARK through special events, tournaments, and staking mechanics. Developed by GGXYZ Studio, the in-house game development arm of the Gamestarter Launchpad, Dark Frontiers aims to enhance the usability of NFTs through staking, item ownership, and the creation of real-world value through in-game items.

The project was created by GGXYZ Studio, a developer associated with Gamestarter, a platform known for launching blockchain-based gaming projects.

Although 'DARK' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Dark Frontiers token's smart contract, it is in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'DARKF' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
