DAPPOS

DOS is the native utility and governance token of DAPPOS, a platform that combines AI-based crypto research and planning with infrastructure for carrying out blockchain transactions. DAPPOS is structured as a Web3 AI Operating System made up of two main parts: an Intelligence Layer and an Execution Layer.

The Intelligence Layer processes user requests and develops responses or execution plans. It consists of a Multi-Agent Framework (MAF) with 300–400 specialised agents and more than 200 integrated tools, alongside the Bubble Engine, a system designed to retrieve and incorporate changing Web3 information.

The Execution Layer uses DAPPOS's Intent Execution Network to turn eligible plans into blockchain actions. Rather than requiring a user to specify each transaction step, the network works from an intended outcome. Service providers compete to fulfil these requests while execution validators check whether the stated result has been achieved. Its Optimistic Minimum Staking (OMS) model requires service providers to post collateral against the tasks they accept, with compensation available to users when an intent fails under the network's rules.

DAPPOS also provides Instant dApps, which are applications generated from natural-language requests, and a Discover interface where users can access AI-generated research and execution plans. Its uses include crypto research, DeFi strategy generation and transaction execution.

DOS connects several functions within the DAPPOS ecosystem:

• Access to services: DOS can be used for selected premium DAPPOS services, including Bubble Engine functions and specialised AI workflows. Staking DOS may also make users eligible for additional AI consumption credits.
• Transaction fees: Users can pay fees for intent executions in DOS, with discounts available compared with payments made using other supported tokens.
• Staking: Service providers, execution validators, third-party AI agent providers, infrastructure partners and other service participants may need to stake DOS as collateral or as a condition for providing services. Token holders may also delegate DOS to eligible participants subject to the protocol's rules.
• Rewards and service payments: Eligible ecosystem participants can receive protocol-defined fees or rewards for providing services.
• Governance: DOS holders can take part in on-chain governance, including proposing and voting on changes to the protocol. Governance may cover areas such as protocol parameters, staking rules, service-provider participation and ecosystem standards.

These functions make DOS a coordination token for access, payments, service-provider staking and governance rather than an ownership claim on DAPPOS. DOS does not provide ownership, income rights or a security interest.

DAPPOS dates back to 2022, when the project was presented as a Web3 operating protocol intended to simplify interactions across blockchains and decentralised applications. It was selected for Season 5 of the Binance Labs Incubation Program in November 2022.

Ty Shen is DAPPOS's founder and CEO. He is a Tsinghua University graduate with a background in mathematics and software engineering and previously co-founded Alchemy Pay, where he served as CTO.

Isabella Yang is a co-founder of DAPPOS. She represented the project at Avalanche Summit II in 2023 and served as a judge at ETHDenver in 2024.

The project has changed its product emphasis over time. DAPPOS initially focused on an operating protocol centred on unified accounts and cross-chain dApp interaction, while its current architecture combines that execution infrastructure with the Multi-Agent Framework and Bubble Engine to support AI-based research, planning and execution.
