Chi Siamo CASH
CASH is a USD stablecoin that is intended to be backed 1:1 by US dollars and US dollar-denominated reserve assets. It is described as an “open-loop” stablecoin, designed to be integrated by third parties rather than being limited to a single platform.
On the CASH website, Bridge Building Inc (BBI) is named as the issuer. The site also describes redemption at 1:1 for USD via Bridge and outlines the types of reserve assets BBI may hold (eg short-dated US Treasury bills, reverse repos collateralised by US Treasuries, money-market funds and deposit accounts) with reserves held in segregated accounts and wallets.
CASH is positioned for two main sets of uses:
- Payments and money movement: The project states CASH will be accepted across Stripe’s merchant network and used within Phantom’s wallet features, including holding a balance, paying other users and linking to card-based spending (virtual cards mentioned, with physical cards described as planned).
- Developer and business integrations: The project describes a “contributor” model where platforms that originate CASH supply receive net revenue associated with that supply (after issuance fees, per the press page) and can integrate via Bridge APIs.
The website also states CASH is launching first on Solana, with expansion to other chains described as a future plan.
