Bullish (BLSH) refers to the tokenized ordinary shares of Bullish, an NYSE-listed digital asset platform. The tokenized shares represent Bullish ordinary shares on the Solana blockchain and are administered through Equiniti, the SEC-registered transfer agent that Bullish has agreed to acquire. According to Bullish, onchain BLSH shares are real ordinary shares rather than wrappers, derivatives or special purpose vehicle interests, and carry the same legal and economic rights as shares held through a traditional brokerage.
The BLSH token contract address on Solana is 6d5zakCaxjjRALNRyudC6ArivxeBGT3XUAci7ybWQY8U.
Bullish describes the tokenized share structure as a way for shareholders to hold BLSH ordinary shares in a blockchain wallet while keeping the share record connected to the company’s registered shareholder system. The tokenized shares are not currently designed for open decentralized exchange trading. Transfers are restricted to Equiniti-whitelisted wallets and any attempted transfer to a non-whitelisted address will fail at the smart contract level.
BLSH is used to represent ownership of Bullish ordinary shares onchain. Shareholders can move eligible shares from a broker to Equiniti through the Direct Registration System, complete identity checks, whitelist a Solana wallet and withdraw tokenized shares to that approved wallet. Once withdrawn, the tokenized shares can be held in self-custody, transferred peer-to-peer between whitelisted registered shareholders or moved back through Shareholder Central.
The tokenized structure is intended to support blockchain-based share ownership, including direct wallet custody, an onchain record of withdrawn shares and peer-to-peer transfers between approved shareholders. Bullish also states that corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits and proxy votes continue to be handled by Equiniti in the usual way, with relevant changes mirrored on the onchain token supply where needed.
At launch, BLSH token transfers are limited. Automated market maker and decentralized exchange trading are not enabled. Bullish states that this restriction is used to support compliance with U.S. securities laws and anti-money-laundering rules while the regulatory framework for onchain securities develops.
Tokenized BLSH shares were created by Bullish, an NYSE-listed digital asset platform that provides market infrastructure and information services. The tokenized share programme is run through Equiniti, the SEC-registered transfer agent that Bullish has agreed to acquire.
Bullish announced on May 5, 2026 that shareholders could hold BLSH ordinary shares as tokens on Solana. The company said the launch forms part of its wider work on tokenized securities infrastructure, combining its digital asset platform with Equiniti’s shareholder recordkeeping and transfer agent services.
